Spreading Holiday Cheer Through Community, Opportunity & Giving
Every December, the Afro-American Workforce Development Group Inc brings together families, community partners, and supporters to celebrate the season while creating meaningful impact. Our annual Holiday Community Gathering & Charity Toy Drive encourages participants to enjoy a festive atmosphere, connect with one another, and donate toys that bring joy to children in need. Together, we turn celebration into opportunity and goodwill.

Our Mission
The Afro-American Workforce Development Group Inc is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals, strengthening communities, and expanding opportunities through workforce training, education, and service initiatives. What began as a small effort to uplift local families has grown into a meaningful tradition that supports hundreds of children and households every holiday season.

Date: Friday, December 13, 2025
Time: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Cost: Free to participate — just bring a new, unwrapped toy 🎁
What to Wear: Festive sweaters, holiday colors, or comfortable seasonal attire
Where Donations Go: All donated toys will be distributed to children and families in need through our community outreach and support programs
🎁 Donate a Toy – Bring a new, unwrapped toy to the event or drop it off at participating bars.
👯 Volunteer – Help us coordinate, decorate, and keep the festivities running smoothly.
💖 Sponsor Us – Partner with us to showcase your business and support the community.
